This Season 25-26 of the Presidential Concert Series (PCS) at Lee University is using Squires Hall, Dixon Center and Pangle Hall. We will be beginning in Squires Hall on September 30th for our opening concert. Our guests will be seasoned performers Andres Cardenes, violinist, and pianist Ian Hobson. In October we will welcome back to Pangle hall a community favorite, The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Their musicianship is exceptional, and their music is loved by many generations of people around the world. On February 12, 2026, yet another grouping from the Manhattan Chamber Players will be performing in Pangle Hall.. The remarkable string quartet will be joined by a flutist and also an oboist. Their cast of amazing musicians allows for a wide range of repertoire. We always enjoy bringing back performers from previous seasons. In March we welcome jazz performers Chris Brubeck and Triple Play back to the Dixon Center.. I would describe their concerts as light hearted and just plain fun! Closing our season in mid-April will be Gloria Chien's String Theory with a dynamic String Octet. What a celebratory way to end our season! There is a time for everything in life and in music, a time for an opening note and a time for a coda. Dr. Vanessa Wei will be picking up my part in this series, communicating with agents, other musicians, and continuing with Series manager, Rachael Sutton, to bring great music to our campus and community..
With gratitude for being able to play a part in bringing wonderful musicians to Lee University and Cleveland since 1992!
